BanglaDutch Developments Ltd. is a Dutch initiative to create business in Bangladesh. The goal of the company is to create jobs, providing workers with a fair wage and also to provide their direct families (partner and children) with basic healthcare and education. We aim to work together with existing Bangladeshi organisations in providing healthcare and education.
We believe that creating jobs is an effective way to fight poverty. Providing a sustainable income gives people the pride in taking care of themselves and their families.
Therefore, this initiative is not a charity but a business. We call it 'social business' which simply means that the business - in the long term - has to be profitable to provide sustainable jobs giving people a better future.
